Children wrote about how they were going to leave their "mark" on the world. They used various supplies to create a 3D dot. Each child brilliantly used an eraser on a pencil and a stamp pad and created art with dots. For pure pleasure, they each decorated a dot sugar cookie with icing dots and sprinkles. We were astonished at their masterpieces! Finally, they went on a dot exploration. They drew or wrote on a data collection sheet (little scientists) the dots they found. Mrs. Walag captured each dot in a photograph. Their keen eyes are going to yield an amazing photographic display of dots. Peter H. Reynolds might want to visit Chets Creek!

I loved making my BIG cookie! Thank you for letting my mommy help. She had fun too.
