Yes, we live in Florida, but the weather has been cold! We used this opportunity to use our imaginations and we created a Snow Day!
We used Lester Laminack's beautiful book to teach point of view. After discovering the true point of view the story was being told by, we went back to the text and looked closely for visual or textual clues!
We then created winter poetry, art, and last but not least, enjoyed tasty hot chocolate.
